High-Definition Digital Video Recorder for Aviation and Flight Use. Crisp 1080 Video and Playback While Recording.

Launch customers have already purchased the FDHDR200 for delivery in late February 2010. Customer use includes surveillance, mission debriefing, litigation, and training reviews. At half the size of a typical VCR and weighing just 4 lbs 10 oz (2.1kg), Flight Display Systems anticipates many more unique applications for this product.

The FDHDR200 is capable of recording 1080i video from an HD-SDI camera or other SDI source (HD-SDI: 1080i@59.94Hz, SD-SDI: 480i@59.94Hz). The unit includes two 32GB removable CompactFlash cards which can be replaced in flight for additional recording time. Dubbing is also available to an included USB port. An LCD embedded on the front of the HD-DVR allows operators to perform a variety of functions, including bit rate adjustment, system status checks, and CompactFlash card testing.
Composite DVR version is also available. Contact Jay Healey at +1-702-361-0958 or sales@flightdisplay.com for more information.
